Kõik teed viivad Pariisi

Hiljuti vaatasin oma kalendrisse ning pidin endalegi üllatusena tunnistama, olen Pariisis elanud juba peaaegu kaks kuud! Samuti on jäänud kuu-ajane paus minu blogisse...
Siin olles on mul tõesi superhea tunne olnud algusest peale, üheks põhjuseks on kindlasti olnud sõprade külaskäigud.

Time has passed without noticing it while staying in Paris. Can you imagine, I have been living here for 2 months now! That also reminds me that this is my first post over a month... I wish that time would pass as quickly in Abu Dhabi.
I have found myself in a nice routine: workouts, walking to school, school, open-air markets, hosting friends. Every day I can feel this positive vibe inside me, I guess it is a sign that I simply love every single moment in this city. Also, since Paris is everybody's dream destination in Europe I have been blessed with numerous visits from friends from London, Lyon and Estonia. I love how connected Paris is because it is so much cheaper and convenient to visit me here than come all the way to Abu Dhabi.
At least in my opinion, my French has enhanced quite a bit considering the fact that 5 months ago I could bearly mumble thank you and goodbye (probably with wrong pronunciation). Most of the time people in the service sector can tell that I am not local and thus turn to English to help me out. So far I have been determined to speak with them in French, even though it may not be correct all the time. To my surprise, the french (or may be more specifically Parisians) actually speak quite good English. I have never encountered language barrier here. In addition, people have been curious about my home country (I guess due to my distinctive looks). It has been a great surprise to hear that most of them have never even heard about Estonia, which I find odd since we are also Europeans and even part of the EU and NATO. With my experience from the UAE and France, I have to say that in the UAE, so far, people have known better about Estonia.
I have been lucky enough to have been chosen for wine tasting activity organized by the school in the meanwhile. We explored Bercy Village, its history, wine cellars etc. I found it very useful since France is well-known for their wine culture and where in the World would I have better opportunity to do it than here?
Now I ran out off topics for this post. I will assure you, next one will be full of surprises! Stay tuned!
